About Mike Whalen
Hi, my name is Mike Whalen. I am a photographer living in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. I was born and raised in New England but traded white snow for white sand about 10 years ago. While I do miss the mountains and nature of the Northeast, I can't complain about living on the coast in a warm climate with some of the world's most beautiful beaches.
I developed a passion for photography about 4 years ago. It is something that brings me a lot of joy and is a skill that I continuously work to improve. It gets me out into this wonderful world that we live in and provides a way for me to capture the earth as I see it through my eyes, or my lens to be precise. Through this site and social media, I get to share my experiences with you.
I focus mostly on landscapes, seascapes, sunsets, nature and wildlife but I love to capture just about anything.
